Microblading, which is also called micropigmentation, micro stroking, eyebrow feathering and eyebrow embroidery, is a semi-permanent treatment, which makes your natural eyebrows look fuller and bolder.
This treatment is performed by a special trained professional who is injecting pigment into the dermis with a use of a hand tool with microblade. As a result, hair-like strokes mimic natural eyebrows hair and makes it look incredibly realistic.
What is Microshading?
Microshading, also known as ombre and eyebrows embroidery , is a perfect eyebrows treatment choice for people with sensitive skin. This technique is similar to microblading, but it gives eyebrows fuller and softer effect. Is it a different microblading and microshading Aftercare?
There are the same rules of aftercare you need to follow for both treatments in order to help the healing process and maintain the desired results.
- Do not get the treated area wet, but clean it gently with a fragrance free cleanser or a little bit of sterile water.
- Avoid direct sun and tanning salons for 4 weeks.
- Avoid to use sauna, jacuzzi or steam room for 10 days.
- Avoid exercise or other activities which causes sweat for the first days after treatment.
- Avoid using makeup or skin products for 10 days.
- Use ointment as it was recommended by your technician.
- Do not forget about your touch up treatment.
Restrictions and Contradictions
Every technician has a right to refuse perform both microblading or microshading treatments if the the client is in one or more of the following conditions:
- Pregnant or nursing
- HIV positive
- Suffer from heart disease
- Going under chemotherapy
- Has skin disease
- Other diseases or infections
